Hi Peeps.
New to the forum and a new KK owner down under in Australia.I have a 2010 MY11 Sport 3.7.The vehicle came with the original Uconnect stereo model REL and I was given a MyGIG Satnav model number RHP unit by the guy who sold me the car.I have just installed the MyGIG unit and it is working fine except the bluetooth and UConnect are not working.I have checked the engineering mode and have noticed the section for JK-VR/HEM is grayed out and can't be turned on or off.Has anyone done this swap that can fill me in on what I need to do to get full functions working.Maybe the wiring is different or something is missing that the MyGIG unit needs.Thanks in advance for any help.

The UConnect has to be enabled by the dealer via the starscan tool or whatever it is they use these days. Almost any time an electronic option is added the main computer will need to have a "switch moved" for that item to work.

Thanks guys.Hey there KKnut, I have seen you hanging out here in OZ on Ausjeep.I spoke to a guy in spare parts yesterday at a Brisbane dealership and was told that the RHP Satnav units have a separate bluetooth/Uconnect module usually found in the rear quarter panel near the sub woofer and a separate micrphone unlike the original REL non touchscreen model found in the sport which has the module built in to the stereo head unit and the microphone in the mirror.I have read also what you are saying KKnut about having to enable the new features on the ECU.So I am still unsure if a new module and microphone are needed,has anyone done this swap to confirm,also any Aussies that can confirm this just in case things are set up a bit different over here with our RHP model MyGig Satnav units.Oh and Red08 I am not sure if that unit works with my Satnav model.Cheers
