Hi all.
I screwed up and put stop leak in the oil. Will this cause damage? How do I get it out?

Change your oil. On a side note, you shouldn't be putting stop leak in anything. That stuff causes more harm then good.

I agree, after using stop leak, my turbo has started whining above 2000 rpm. I changed the oil it is still whining. How do I get this out of the system? The turbo was already leaking oil but never whining sound from bearings. Anything I can do to save turbo?

Worth a try: Get some Marvel Mystery Oil, put a qt. (32 oz.) in the motor oil and hope it will counteract the effects of the stop leak?
Good luck! & keep us posted...

FYI: Your turbo wasn't leaking oil. That was from the CCV and is normal - if annoying.

You may need to change your oil several times in rapid succession, but the idea of using Marvel mystery oil is also a good one.

Yes, I did a few oil changes and added some sea foam. I actually already had the turbo checked out and they said it needed to be replaced. It did not whine before I added the stop leak, it just leaked a lot. I replaced the turbo and it seems to be running pretty well, and it leaks less.

A turbo should not leak anything! If it does, you still got a problem!
I would still add 16 oz's of Marvel Mystery Oil to the engine oil be on the safe side.....

Where is it leaking from? Is the CCV connected?

Yes, I have the ccv connected. I checked the leak location, a small amount of oil is accumlating on the skid plate.

Ok... That is not really helpful. The skid plate does not use oil.

Where is the oil coming from on the engine / where on the skid plate is it located if you definitely cannot determine where on the engine it is leaking from?
