A good friend of mine just picked up an 05 CRD. I stick has gone through the grill and took out the e-fan blade and the condenser.

Where is the best place to get the right condenser with the trans cooler in it?
Another option possible would be to use a much cheaper gasser condenser and an aftermarket trans cooler. Does any one know if the gas condenser will go right in place of the original one?
Does anyone know if the fan blade can be purchased separately?
Or maybe two smaller aftermarket fans?

Thanks for any help or ideas. I used the search and couldn't find where anyone has used the gasser condenser on one of our CRD's.

The gasser condensor certainly looks like it will fit. And I cant see any reason why it wouldnt.
But as far as I know, you would be the first to try it.

I dont know about the fan blade.

I've got the gas condenser and separate trans cooler. AC works better. Make super you vacuum the system to have no leaks or water left behind. Setup 1/3 of the price works great.

the CRD has the trans cooler built in , the gasser does not

I cut the cooler off of mine , but you will not be able to put both the cooler and stock efan in

I ended up finding a used CRD condenser. It's all fixed. I did vacuum it down and do the A/C properly.
Thanks for the replies. I had a surgery in October and haven't been on here since.
