I have 170,000 miles plus on our CRD. Will this filter reduce your fuel mileage?

The best we've ever got was 26 mpg. We usually get around 21 to 24 mpg.

Our filter looks clean. Is ok to call it good if you can easily blow through it?

Are there any concerns about using the fuel filters GMCTD suggested? Micron ratings or issues with the other filters falling apart or anything?

Its just a filter for the vacuum system.
I doubt it would effect your MPG.
None the less, its cheap to replace.
I use the cheap fuel filter and just trim the ends to fit.

This is all you need.
Find one at the auto parts store or even walmart.
