Correct. The Weeks 1 kit eliminates the tube from the EGR cooler to the intake elbow which you then need the block off plate. In the Weeks 2 kit the the EGR cooler (and the cross over tube from the exhaust manifold) is completely removed and as JWS states the manifold is capped.
