So I've been running my lift now for almost 8 years, I have Rancho 17505 struts and rsx shocks currently. Well, recently I've been looking to upgrade and replace both front and rear with a new set of ranchos, but the 17505's are discontinued and I can't seem to find the rsx's anymore either. Would they be under a new part #? Are Rancho shocks atill worth it? Should I go towards a different manufacturer?

Thanks guys!

For your Jeep, Bilsteins are one of the top choices for shocks. Many on LOST are running them including myself! :D
A good place to purchase shocks with a discount is Shock Warehouse in Oakland Park FL.

Rancho did away with the RSX line about 6-7 years ago at least, great line, stupid mistake on their part.
They don't have anything worth installing now like those
What springs are you going with ?
As far as shocks, two best brands that I install here are OME and Bilsteins now
JBA has both or stock fronts and 99-02 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Club Cab works , JBA has a bushing kit for the upper mount

Bilsteins seem like the way to go, or atleast that what it seems like from the looks of people's set-ups around here.

That's a bummer they did away with that line, I'm just now starting to experience my suspension being "loose" and I've put it through some hell over the last few years. I couldn't happier with them. My lift I'm running currently is OME rear springs and stock front with daystar 2.5" spacer. But when I get new struts/shocks, I'm switching to OME 927 front springs and I'm staying with the rear OME but adding a rear Iso top and bottom

You'll be way happier with the 927s over that spacer lift
I would also replace the rear springs as well if they are that old
Worn out springs and new shocks is not good, will wear the shocks out faster, another 170 bucks is well worth it to upgrade everything
Are you running bumpstops??
Also check over all of the front suspension parts closely

The rear springs are 8 years old for sure, wasnt too sure how long they were able to last, but it might just be worth it to replace them.
Yes I'm running front and rear bumpstops. Just 1" though. I know the rule is usually 1" per inch lifted, but I've had good luck with the 1" so far.
I think with the new front suspension I'll end up doing ball joints also, they are starting to sound creeky.

Thanks Tom!!
