I bought a 2017 Renegade Sport May 30 and put 1300 miles on it to date. Nimble vehicle.

My Liberty was a Renegade.

Congrats on the new Jeep! As you get to know it, you'll have to tell us what you think.

I can tell you that after 1,400 miles that we thoroughly enjoy the Renegade.

The 2.4L/9 speed has plenty of get up and go on the twisty 2 lane mountain roads or for passing on the highway.
We aren't lacking for room. (Our 6'3" son drives and rides comfortably with room to spare.) Cargo space is adequate.

No mechanical or electronics issues. No rattles or squeaks. Getting upper 27-28 MPG with a lead foot. Handling is sporty but still Jeep like. Not that I'm looking forward to another cold winter, but I can't wait to try the 4WD in the snow. I had it on some unpaved mountain roads but nothing hard core.

Up to 2,600 miles and still happy with the Renegade.

It is a solid little vehicle, very comparable in size to a 2 door Wrangler minus the ground clearance and larger tires.

One thing about my old KJ, it always felt top heavy when cornering. And the Renegade gets much better MPG than my JKU did.

Thanks for your reviews on the Rene. I am retiring and wish I could afford one when I finally use up my KJ Liberty. Please keep the forum informed as your Jeep ages. I want to hear about problems and accomplishments so I may make a decision on possibly buying one in the future.
As always here on LOST Forum we will help you through fixes if we can.

:)

Over 5,000 trouble free miles now. I picked up a set of wheels for my winter tires and I'm waiting for some serious snowfall to go out and play in.

I read where Erie PA had 3-4 feet of the white stuff, not too far from where you are!

How is the Renegade doing today? What have you learned?

I had an engine misfire, dealer diagnosed a bad spark plug. The entire set was replaced and all is well.
