The inside of the hose and probably the coupling will have an oil residue, you'll want to clean that off before reconnecting. Make sure the clamp is good and tight, and if you're still having issues with it popping off, some people have mentioned having good luck with some spray adhesive in the hose connection (or even hair spray).

As to boost hoses, a little trick I used on my Dodge, which is running over 40 psig boost at full gallop, it kept blowing hoses off even with "T" bolt clamps. I read of a little trick the diesel racers use, "GLUE"! So I sprayed inside of hose area where hoses connect and sprayed mating connector areas with 3M™ Hi-Tack 76 Spray Adhesive which I had on hand. Tightened "T" bolt clamps and let dry overnight!
Have NEVER blew a hose off again!!!

godzilla is not need just good and tight; if doing new hoses be sure fittings they go onto are free of grease before install; some have had hoses pop loose and found a reclean of hose inside and fitting outside combined with a light application of sticky hair spray solves the problem
