While I'm doing my timing belt etc and since the front end was wrecked, I'm replacing the radiator brace that the hood latch connects to. My parts vehicle is a gasser, which is good in that it already has the duct for the V-6 intake (I'm swapping over the box too) but the stickers for the drive belt routing etc will no longer be relevant. Not tried the dealer yet but does anyone know if those can be gotten somewhere?

Thanks

The part number should be 53031758AA. You could try the dealer, or else order it online.

Why make it hard on yourself. Just ask someone on the forum with an 05 US model KJ CRD to take pictures of the stickers you want and email you the JPGs. Take those files to any decent print shop and print copies assuming you lack a PC/Mac and printer. Tape to appropriate place under hood with clear vinyl tape. Alternatively look thru the 05 FSMs at http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/ for images of what you need in PDF format; print and tape to under hood as needed.

Problem solved.

The belt routing is the main thing I wanted and it appears to be discontinued, 53014005AA.

I thought about taking the picture and then having it printed out but that is complicated for someone like me but may be the route I have to go.

Thanks for all the info guys.

Print it out, take it to Office Max, have it laminated and stick it in your glove box! Problem solved....

I have the solution for you. Have your alternator decoupler fail, destroy a Serpentine auto tensioner, but not before trashing 3 belts in a matter of weeks.

Then each time replace it in the middle of summer on a 90f+ day, the burning sensation on your arm skin as you route the belt around will forever scar your brain with the correct routing pattern.

As least thats what worked for me.

I also scratched it into the fan shroud for good measure, however no amount of heavy drinking has dislodged that knowledge.

About the only way I really learn something is by doing it over several times. But that only works within the first year...

Grooved pulleys get the grooved side of the belt.
Smooth pulleys get the smooth side of the belt.
And they kinda alternate, grooved-smooth-grooved-smooth.

See, its easy

Here you go
colors added for clarity.
Print it, have it laminated, and glue it to fan shroud or place it in glove box....
if you want a copy of the file emailed, pm me.
