They seem like viable plugs for our CRDs. It says they are 5 volt. For 32 bucks shipped, I ordered a set of 4.
I think I am gonna run 7v through them and see how they hold up.

Thanks. I ordered a set. Seller has long history and overwhelmingly positive reviews. Of course the cost of glow plug replacement is in the labor, but it’s nice to save so much on parts.

Glad you appreciated the post but I must emphasize that I am no 100% sure these are the correct plugs. Everything tells me they should be. Until they are put side by side and also installed there is uncertainty.

 Following with interest.

The tip of the example pictured appears to be a cross between Bosch and eTecno1. Thin Bosch tip, thicker in the area that comes through the head, like the eTn1s

I'm approaching the second winter of eTecno1 5V powered by 7V programming, with nary a problem to date, and temps down to -15F Same procedure - turn key on - 'dinger' sounds 5x, engine cranks 4-5 times and it starts. Unless the battery is dead .

In stock form I would tend to stick with the name-brand product, (diabolical GP access :furious: ) but now that I've got the WEEKS kits, the GP access is so much improved that trying these doesn't seem so risky. That's all beside the point though, as the eTn1 5V are doing great.

:goink: Are you still running the 7V ceramics :?:

I am trying to get ready for winter now:

X Engine Cover Back On
X Cardboard Blocking Most of Radiator
X Dual Optima Yellow Tops
Duramax Grid Heater (just ordered a solenoid so this hasn't been tested yet though it has been installed for months)
5v Plugs with 7v Programing (in process as described above)
Upgraded Thermostat (limited options and very pricey, not an option at this point)
Check the Block Heater yet to make sure it works
Thermo TopC (I wish)

Still got some things to do and the lottery to win.

Forget the cardboard and save up for a HDS model 1 replacement thermostat housing et al. My jeep always ran cold, couldn't even get decent cabin heat. After my head replacement (lost a timing belt) I upgraded to this device and it's one of the best mods on my jeep if not the best. I consider this just as important as the full EGR delete for engine longevity! The engine runs right in the middle of the temp gauge and the computer says that's 196F. Perfect, the engine warms right up as well. I have no interest in HDS just a satisfied customer. They are not cheap.

Received my set today. I’ll purchase a Bosch for physical comparison before starting the project.
