I have been in contact with VM Specialist Ltd through e-mail. I am interested in getting a head assembly and full gasket kit. I found their parts to be quite reasonable. Their method of payment was through bank transfer. I attempted to find out from the bank if they were a legitimate company and due to privacy rules was unable to succeed. I was wondering if anyone has purchased parts from them? I tried calling from the US and my verizon line said that the receiving party was blocking that type of call. Their web site, vmdieselspecialist.com is very impressive. I would like to know if anybody has been in contact with them lately.

A quick read reveals more payment methods and with PayPal you can get buyer protection. Let us know the pricing you get for the head...

From their site:

Bank Transfer, this is acceptable in mail order situations worldwide. Within Europe transactions tend to happen within 24 hours. When doing an international bank transfer, please allow up to five working days for the transfer to take place. Some transactions may come through quicker.
Credit/Debit Cards, this is depending on the country and value of goods.
PayPal, please be aware you will be charged 3.4% and 20p on every payment due to the PayPal rates and percentage fees.
Cash on Collection

I bought $2500 worth of goods from them, wire transferred the money, it went extremely smooth. They had the parts in my hands in 7 days after the payment cleared their bank.

Did you get a price list? Can you tell us if you saved $ going with this supplier?

Basically the only thing I really saved money on was the head, the rest within a few dollars or buying it from Sasquatch or Idparts. I emailed them for a quote and they got back to me with prices.

I bought several things from them including 2 heads and all new valves and two sets of rockers for significant savings. They are a trustworthy supplier IMHO

I've ordered a ton of stuff from them, and I have a pile of odd VM parts that belong to engines different from our 2.8's. Every time they send me a wrong part, they go silent when I question them about it, and this was after they verified the engine code. Where it gets really stupid,
is the fact that most of the parts are correct. Anybody want oil pan gaskets, turbo gaskets and other random parts that go to mystery VM engines :banghead:
