I was just replacing the map sensor on my 2006 CRD and when I started it up, I have a part squirting fuel. It appears to be a distribution block for the fuel return line, as it has 3 fuel lines coming into it, including the low pressure return from the rail and the return line to the tank. The part that broke off is a tiny hose (less than 2mm) and the barb that came out of the front upper corner of the part. It is in a fabric protector running from where it appears to have broken off up into the wire loom on top of the motor. I have looked at everything I can think of to see what the part is, and where I can get a replacement, but I can't find it mentioned. I have a picture of it, but apparently can't post it here.

It's pricey:

A lot of folks make their own out of brass fittings for cheaper.

Or you can make a brass replacement. go to http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/ and download my tech tip PDF scroll down bookmarks to DIY fuel return block. Also someone on the forum may have an aluminum block version for sale.

Another option:
Order a metal fuel block from Summit Racing, Amazon, eBay, or Jegs, (~$22-25) add four brass fittings of the correct size you can get at a hardware store or builders supply store and you are back in business.

Thanks for the info. I shopped around, and found a Jeep dealer who was willing to sell it to me for wholesale, which was the least expensive of the ones I found at aftermarket places. I put it on order, and hope to have it in hand... and in the Liberty, by Wednesday. If it ever breaks again, I'll be going the modified manifold route. Thanks for all the helpful replies.
