Problem:Found both my lower ball joint dust cover/boots busted due to age!
Both ball joints still in excellent condition, tight with no discernible play. Could not warrant replacing ball joints just for bad boots!
Solution:I made 2 home made dust cover/boots out of some rubber hose I had on hand.
Removed old boot parts, cleaned up ball joints real good and greased them up.
Installed new home made dust cover/boots packed with grease....
