 Post subject: Fuel pump priming

I seem to remember that you should have to cycle the key twice to get a 20 second fuel pump prime but every time I turn my key on I get a 20 second prime, is this normal?

Pretty sure that's normal. I can hear my pump run when the engine isn't firing. and it definitely runs every time I turn the key to on.

yes its normal I cycle the key more than once to get the pump to expel all air when changing filter.

Normal! It runs for ~20 seconds everytime you cycle the key to the on position and runs continuously once the engine starts.
