Has anyone bought any CHEAP mud mats for their Liberty that actually fit, or made something?

The floor pans in the liberty are pretty small.

I don't have the benjamins to spend on weathertech mats, or anything.

Just needs something to keep the mud and blood off from hunting this season.

I know there are some cheapskates like me on this forum that have come up with something that works well.

Thanks.

Hi fellow cheapskate!
I got my hands on some thin conveyor belting & just cut to size. You do have folds in the corners as its not molded into shape. When it gets to be a mess, just throw it out & cut out a new piece.
I dont buy carpet mats, I just cut out pieces from some off cut I got for free from a carpet place.

Take a look at Husky Floor liners, not as pricey as Weathertech and good quality.
Had a set in mine since 2013 and they have held up well.

+1 husky. Half the price of weather tech and same quality. I got the rear tray too.

I'll cast a vote for OEM rubber mats in the cabin, and anything else for the rear.

There is an OEM cargo liner for the KJ that is best avoided. If you're familiar with the sort of material typically used as taxi floor covering, this looks like the same stuff only stiffer. It does cover the seat back, but attaches to the seat with plastic hooks that get clipped onto the headrest supports. These have to be unclipped every time you want to put the seats down and can only be put back with the seat back upright, which is a real pain. It also has a coefficient of friction with any object placed on it approaching that of ice on ice.

The Mopar part number for this abomination is 82206761. Don't be tempted.

After looking at the advice here, I decided to go with the full set of Husky liners.
I used a couple gift cards and it totaled about $250.00 for all the floor mats and trunk mat, on Amazon. So for the little bit extra the gift cards didn't cover, I'll just skip beer this month. :D

Thanks for all the great advice.

Not cheap even still but far superior to generic options imo.
