On my 08 KK the transmission temp light came on, I pulled over and checked the transmission case temp with a temp gun it read around 140f at several points seems like a acceptable temp to me. What do you think?
thanks Gary

Go and get it checked. Hitting the high temp means you've broken down the composition of the fluid. Will most likely need to be changed out. At a minimum have a reputable shop sample the fluid. Better results if you know what brand is in there.
