You are indeed belittling me... which is rather ironic seeing as you have not even tried my product and 100% of my entire customer base have been very happy with their purchase of a Model 001. That is a win/loss record of over 300/0. Every single one of my customers have had nothing but praise for the quality, the design and the outstanding performance of their Model 001 thermostats. You essentially have no basis for your claims other than your own misinformed opinion.

Your opinions on this topic and of me are harsh; it is therefore natural to conclude that you think my customers who think the same as I are fools and have been "taken in" by my slick advertising and "scare-mongering". As such, I hereby welcome all of my customers to now confess on this forum and on the Liberty CRD Facebook Page that I completely pulled the wool over their eyes.

You making accusations that I am a con-man because you cannot understand simple irrefutable principles of cooling system design is patently ridiculous. Your suggestion that I am lying and making complete fabrications about the dangers of the inline thermostat - even after you have been also informed by multiple LOSTJEEPS members of their own experiences and expertise that mirrors mine - show both your ignorance of the topic and a penchant for wilful blindness.

My product is NOT overpriced given the high cost to manufacture it. I have seen the cheap crap you have purchased from China and posted on Facebook, Alf Beharie. You repeatedly brag about how little you spend, even on critical fluids such as engine oil, so there is therefore no point in trying to convince you. However, your insults will not go without repercussions.

As mentioned earlier in this post, my win/loss record is over 300/0. You can not have a better record than that. On the other hand, your record is not so good... I already know from messaging Andy Barrett - the Administrator of the Jeep 4X4 UK Facebook Page and other Jeep Forums - that he has punted you from at least two online forums for your arrogance and your rude behaviour. This is a quote from him... "He put a lot of backs up in my groups, being rude and arrogant. He thinks he's an expert and talks with great authority - and was talking down to some of the guys who have been taking jeeps apart and putting them back together for 30 years - the irony is, he doesn't have a clue what he's taking about - he just googles something, reads half an article then thinks he is a master. He's an idiot."

Well, Jeffrey Allan Bauer, that's rich for someone claiming to know so much about the cooling system of the VM 2.8, when you yourself have admitted you are not a trained mechanic, and get others to do the dirty work for you...I on the other hand, am a trained mechanic who used to build 3 different models of McLaren sports cars at their plant in Woking, Surrey....I have extensive electrical, mechanical skills and knowledge and I have been repairing and converting my own vehicles for decades now...So I recognise good advice when I see it and so far I have seen none whatsoever coming from you, except that used to try and justify your ludicrously expensive aftermarket thermostat housings.
Again you conveniently ignore the fact that one KJ CRD user reported having the Renault 5 hack installed for over 6 years, racking up almost 100,000 miles in that time, with absolutely no ill effects on the engine at all...That should tell you, or anyone else, all your need to know!...He has confirmed that it is safe for long term use and causes no damage to the engine. I trusted his advice enough to fit it myself, and I have found it works perfectly and it is extremely cheap and simple to fit, unlike yours.
By the way...Your rambling rant ends in blatant name calling, which amounts to belittling me...You obviously didn't take any notice of what WWDiesel (our Admin here) wrote...Quote: " Do not belittle members for their freely shared advice for trying to help others, it certainly will not be tolerated.".

Show us your credentials that you have worked for McLaren; until such time I will consider you to be a gross exaggerator. A REAL technician would not advocate for the crap upgrades that you are a cheerleader for.

I am indeed not a professionally trained technician, but I did spend money and consult with cooling system engineers, which is a worlds more than what you have done. 2 plus 2 still equals 4, no matter if you are a layman, a technician, or an engineer. You are telling all of us here on LOSTJEEPS.com and on the Liberty CRD Facebook page that 2 plus 2 equals 5, and we are not buying it.

You are the one who started the name calling, and WWDiesel is directing his warnings to YOU.

AND AGAIN, YOU completely ignore the facts as stated by myself and others that you can not see the damage being done to your engine, or the fact that it occurs over time. You have had your CRD only a short time, and you drive it like an old lady. You will not see the detrimental effects on your cylinder head for quite some time...

But then again you brag about getting an entire engine cheap, so perhaps it is O.K. for you to spend 250 Pounds Sterling on a junkyard core and proceed do a lot of work and spend a lot of money on that instead of spending that "exorbitant" amount of about 15 Pounds Sterling for the proper part in the first place. Most of us are really wondering where the logic is in that line of thinking... does spending 250 quid and going through the hassle of a major repair really make sense to you, instead of spending a lousy 15 quid?

Dude, I am struggling mightily to understand where your head is at on this topic. This thread is all about PROBLEMS with the inline thermostat, with the first post started YEARS before I was even on the scene. Now you come sauntering along, register as a member on this forum and state repeatedly that there are no problems with the Renault 5 Hack whatsoever. What are you thinking here? You do not seem to even understand that there are major problems with the image of the Renault 5 Hack that YOU have posted.

Enough is enough! Everyone needs to cool it.
The back and forth insults helps no one and will not be tolerated.
