Just pin the cams and make sure the crank witness is at 3 o'clock. Never start the engine until you've rotated it 2 full rotations and made certain the pins go back in, with the crank back at 3 perfectly. -i've had some binding with pistons against valves when it's out of time. So go easy and move the crank and cams around until you get them back to where they get pinned. As long as you don't forced anything, you'll be fine moving them around by hand out of time.
