I was wondering why you posted the same video of yourself twice. (ego
)?

Was it harder than John Bull?

Oops. fixed.

2 or 3 hard spots. The Gate Keeper, and the Water Fall. rest is ok. JB is one long hard trip up the hill and one long hard trip down the hill. I was more physically and mentally tired after JB.

It was a surprisingly short trail and only had a couple tough spots. It has spots in it that do require front and rear posis or lockers and like I proved by taking the wrong line, you can damage some sheet metal.
Thanks Mikey for spotting me up the Wrong line.
Sheesh, and after I showed you the easy way up too.

This trail would be cool to run in conjunction w/ Holcomb Creek backwards and then possibly another side trail Mikey pointed out to me.

A SNAAAAKE A SNAAAAKE!!!!

After leaving the trail and heading down the back roads to Big Bear we came across the critter above. You can see that it had recently eaten by the slight bulge in it's belly. After I stopped to check it out it decided to hide under my Jeep. Mikey and I also stopped by Butler Peak to show off the view to our companions that were out on their first off roading trip.

Looks like you guys had a good time. SO on the 29th, is there a possibility of running Deep Creek, then Holcomb? I want in that group!

I got some RE leaf springs I hope to have in before then.

Can wait to see you all in Big Bear!

If things go well, we may have a TJ for my wife and she will bring it also.

Robert

Really??, maybe it is because I have run JB so many times I am almost bored with it.

yes it is a muchlonger trail, but alot less technical and could be done easily in a rig with moderate lift and open diffs front and rear.

the same cannot be said for deep Creek

That was a cool trail couple of tough spots being the gate keeper and water fall and not to long. My lockers on my KJ got me through them thanks to Mike and Burchie for spotting me.

it was nice meeting you and hope you had a good time..

Robert if we do run Deep Creek and then decide to do either holcomb or the larga flats trail..

I will probably be Sunday.

Saturday it would just take too long and I would want a MAX of maybe 6-8 vehicle, (nicely equipped ones) otherwise it would be too long...

We might run this trail on sunday as most of the capable guys out there are going to be leading, mid-gunning or tail gunning the standard trails on Big Bear.. I.E., holcomb, john bull, gold, etc...

Its a cool trail but about 30 min to the trail head makes for a rather long day..

we actually finished the trail in a little under 3 hours..figure on adding another 2-hours or so for Holcomb then back to camp, (and that would be with a SMALL group of built rigs)

If we had a larger group, it would just take too long..
