Anyone else have there brakes completly lock on them?
I put the crd in reverse this morning and it just stayed there.. Wouldnt budge. Gave it a lot of gas and it made a loud Rubbing/Grinding noise, got me out of the parking spot. I put it in drive and same thing. Just stayed put until I gave it some gas. Finally cleared up after 100 feet or so. Just scary, hope it doesnt happen while im driving it.
Told the dealer this morning to look at it since its there getting the EGR replaced.

Im really starting to get worried on whats going to happen next. Anything else and I think I will demand that they take this thing back.

No problems here. I would take it back to the dealer so you have a record of the problem. I read one person had a bad master cylinder that was causing brakes to drag and poor mileage.
Make sure when from a stop in neutral that you can roll on a slight incline. If it doesn't roll you have brake issues they need to look at.

We had a problem with the rear brakes not fully releasing after emergency brake use.
The Dealership looked them over and applied some kind of grease somewhere.
They have been fine since. Don

Darn, happend again this morning.
Since the dealer is already trying to replace my EGR valve and having problmes with DC Parts they want me to leave it overnight and will give me a rental for no charge.

I must say I love the way the dealer is handling this, they are really on my side here and want to make sure I am happy. Even though I didnt buy my car there.

It just DC corp thats a pain in my butt. There warehouse is somewhere downtown chicago ill have to see if I can find them.

Glad to hear you found a good dealer. That seems to be the Key with alot of folks, especially once something breaks.

Yeah, that was my truck that they eventually replaced the master cyl and the brake booster unit.

Mine never locked up as you described.. mine was more of a gradual holding of the pressure... but only sometimes. It is true that it wouldn't roll down a hill in neutral. The final staw was when I was on the highway and went to hit the brakes and they went right to the floor. I pulled it to the side of the road and called roadside assistance and had it taken to the dealer.

My dealer had the truck for two weeks before they finally got the truck to "critical fault" the master cylinder. They also put 360 miles on it. This... when it was two weeks old.

Well they had it over night and of course nothing happened. Same thing, bring it back and we will keep it overnight again. Sucks, because I am afraid my wife will be driving it with the 2 little ones and it will just lock or not stop at all. Also the crd is pretty much our only family car and putting the kids in the Tj with 4.5"s of lift and 33's is not a easy task. Not to mention the 11 miles to the gallon it gets.

Well, my great luck came to an end - My CRD was avoiding all of the issues - 'till this morning. At the end of a typical drive into work and some stop lights, my front calipers began to drag severly, so much you HAVE to power around a flat parking lot, the rims were so hot you could not touch them!

Oh yea, and the dealer wanted me to drive it down!?

DC towed it - now the games begin.
