Here are pictures of Aftermarket bumpers that KJ's were wearing at LOST Moab 2006.

Bumper # 1 was showcased by John. It was a Libby that was won in a raffle (coorect me if I am wrong, John). The bumper was made a long time ago (in terms of KJ life) and is not and WILL NOT be made or designs sold. Just enjoy its simplicity.

Bumper # 2 was worn by Ted's KJ. It is just a Prototype. It is the Monitor Lizard bumper made by Rock Lizard. Remember, this is a prototype.

Bumper # 3 was flirting around on the other Ted's KJ. This is the ARB with a winch inside.

Bumpers 2 & 3 did suffer some trail damage out there. Yes, the ARB did get dented in. From discussions with Rock Lizard, it looks like the part that bent on the prototype is going to be a thicker plate for the production model. For a definite answer, discuss it with him. Again, don't ask about the first bumper. They quit making it and it will not be made.

It looks as though we have another new bumper coming out soon from Down Under.

*Disclaimer* These KJ models did not starve themselves or take any meds to slim down to look good while posing for these pictures.

I've got a slush fund started for that RockLizard front bumper. I think it looks the best of the two that are actually being made. The ARB sticks out too far for my taste. I like that stripped down look and I love how the hard angles of the RL contrast with the retro curves of the Liberty.

The Rock Lizard is a nice bumper for sure , and the ARB does stick out pretty far but the ALL J is the nicest design to date...simple, effective with no frills, just all business like all the ALL J products.(to bad it will never be buit again  )

Rock Lizard is certainly the winner of the bumpers that are in production. Nice looks and the approch angle seemed just right.

I like All-J's too. I've begged for them to make another run, but it looks like it wont happen. I'd pay for the designs if they would sell them.

I'll be getting RL's unless this new one from Australia is a little more traditional like All-J's. Pathetic how limited we are in something as basic as a bumper.

The only bumper I like is the ARB. The other ones just do not seem to fit right and all of the gaps are off. I also do not like the 05 ARB b/c you cannot use the stock turn signals. My .02. :?

Look at the thread in the "Generaql Section" about pictures of winches.

Great to see front and side pics... nicely done TokyoJoe.

I am curious on how I could win a KJ raffle    You have to go to Moab to win one? darn!!! The upcoming Oz one looks interesting too.

If I won one, I would mod it to no end and keep one stock for wife's grocery getting!! :D :D

There wasn't enough demand for #1 for All J to produce more. For more info on that, you will have to ask Quinn at All J.

The KJ in the bumper #1 pics was the 2005 raffle vehicle for Cal. association of 4wd clubs (CA4WDC) based here in Cali. It was won by a family in Northern Ca. and after a year they decided to sell it. We bought it for my Wife and it will remain IFS while my KJ goes for a SFA. Both of our KJ's have the All J bumper. (BFD, lucky us  )

That's odd...I was thinking just the opposite. Look at the area between the fenders and the bumper. The ARB by far has the biggest gap. Maybe I'm missing your point though. I would say the RL "fits" the best, then All J, and finally ARB. And functionally...well it ain't even close...that ARB is just TOO BIG. Keep in mind that's the first ever RL prototype too...you can't really judge gaps and fit based on that one.

Yea I know. I wasnt really going by those pics though. It looks as if the ARB has been hit on the pass side but it shouldnt of pulled it down that much. It may just need some adjusting. From looking at those pics the RL does fit the best, but for some reason I just do not like the little lights. Reminds me of whats on out boat trailer.

Rock Lizard is from Colorado, it appears that USAFCOP, TokyoJoe, and SkyJump (all from Colorado) have an agenda to assist him in selling his product. I wonder how many posts they have to make before he gives them a bumper.
