I picked up a set of Moabs from an '04 Rubi last Saturday and finally got the time to put them on. I'm not lifted "Yet", I have some OME HD's in the garage but still need to purchase some Rancho's, so I'm still riding on the SR-A 235/70's. I wanted to get the Rancho's first, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on the Moabs. I really like the look of the Renegade rims, but I think the Moabs look great on the Renegade and the wider stance looks good now and will look even better once I'm lifted.

With the Renegade rims, the rear tires sat about 1 & 1/4" in from the top of the rear flare. Now they sit about 1/4" out from the top of the flare. That's just a rough measurement, but I guess a 1 & 1/2" difference would make sense with a rim 1" wider and with 1/2" less back spacing.

Here's some pics:

And a Before and After of the stance from the front.

What do you all think?

Looks awesome! I love the look the wider rims give it.. I bet it handles ALOT better too doesn't it? I know mine does.. The A/T's give a little in the tight turns though.. Guess its b/c the tread is so deep.. 8)

Thanks guys.

I'm very happy with the results. Not to sound too girly (not that there's anything wrong with that ladies), but I think the Moabs go great with the Renegade Rock & Roof Rails and the Renegade Decals. They seem to fit with the color scheme of the Jeep better then the stock rims did. It's even more so in person because the rims look a lot brighter in the pics then they do in person.

I've only driven about 2 miles (shop to my house so I could post :D ) at low speeds since putting on the rims, so no report yet on the handling.

One thing I forgot to mention. Prior to putting the Moabs on I asked if the Tire Pressure Senor could be switched to the Moabs. I'm happy to say that the switch was very easy, they mounted fine and are working 100% in the new rims. Just in case anyone else was wondering the same thing. I was really worried I'd have that little light on for the life of the KJ.

Yes they are pretty Nanette, but it's harder for a man like myself to say. I wouldn't classify it as a girly moment though. :D Just enjoying a good looking KJ.
