24,000 miles and at least 3 flats. Sold the used 5 for $80.00 and bought 5 new Hercules Terra Trac AT 235/75/16s for $550.00 ($470.00 net )(mounted/balanced/tax/ect.). They also come with a road hazzard warranty...free replacement first 10,000 miles if they can't be fixed...prorated after that. 50,000 miles/500AB rating. I am going to mount them up Monday and see if I have any fitment problems...29.82" tall. I think they will be fine on road and I will add a lift in a month or two...OME 2" from AllJs.

The other 235/75/16 AT that I looked at seriopusly was the Toyo Open Country AT:

235/65/17 29.10"
245/65/17 29.63"
255/65/17 30.05"
245/70/17 30.10"

They have a big selection of sizes for 16" and 17"

Hercules is a really good tire, used to run some of their M/Ts and they did great, rode well, and seemed to last quite a while. You will like the Darby

Jeger, I think there is a dealer in Findlay, little north of you but at least still in Ohio. I know a lot of smaller tire shops carry them also, just check around, know of some places that also carry them in Southeastern Ohio.

Jeger,

I got these and like them in almost everything but Midwest mud. I found out after the fact however that TireDiscounters sold virtually the same tire as an "American Prospector AT" for $40 less a tire. They didn't however offer the prospector in LT, only passenger tires.

Well no with Midwest mud or any mud for that matter you need a mud tire pure and simple but then how many miles do you drive in mud -vs- on the roads so this is a great street tire for sure, lighter weight than a MT etc

3000 miles on the new tires and very impressed. So much better than stock...like night and day. Very good in the rain too. They ride much smoother and are not noisy at all.

The 235/75/16's will fit without a lift and there will be no rub!

I am running the Hercules Terra Trac A/T. Mostly because I wanted an A/T and not too many choices with my 17 inch rims. (235/65/17). I have had them on for 10,000 or so miles. We had a 2 1/2 foot snow storm last year and they were good in the white stuff. They are good in mild to moderate off road use and good on pavement. I ran them in a sand pit once to see what they would do and didn't air down and didn't get stuck. So far - so good.
