LOST Midwest would like to welcome all Midwesterners (and others) to a 'Halloween' Run at the Badlands in Attica Indiana. The event will be held on Saturday 10-27 and Sunday 10-28.

Image

We're asking that those that wish to attend donate $7 to the cause - This will cover food for the day (quick grillables, sandwich goods, beverages) as well as an official 'LOST Midwest Halloween Run 2007' T-Shirt.

This will be a family friendly event open to everyone from stock to highly modified and all 4x4 vehicles are welcome (but the more KJ's the merrier :P)

Stock vehicles are welcome to attend, but at least a rear tow point will be mandatory. As always, skid plates and a cb are recommended for any off road trek.

If enough people express interest, this can easily turn into a two day event with runs on more difficult trails one day for more modified vehicles.

Hopefully we'll see a number of Midwesterners at this event :D

If attending, please send me a pm to confirm shirt size as well as info on how to pay

I'm up for this again. I had a great time last year.

Same here...we had a great turnout last year. It was my first time wheeling the KJ and it was great to meet everyone from L.O.S.T.

I hope we have as many rigs as we did last year.

You guys suck! :D My new baby is due on 10/29, so I'll have to stick close to the roost late October/early November.

Somebody save me an XL shirt. Or can I just order one early?

T.J.

I was really hoping to try to make it out for my first wheelin' trip, but this is the same day as the GNCC Ironman race down in Crawfordsville. When does the wheelin' start and how long does it last? Crawfordsville in not real far from Attica and the race should over by 3pm. Would 4-4:30pm be too late to show up?

Most were able to make it on that saturday so it defaulted to that day =/.

I'm game for a 2day run w/camping at the badlands if theres more that want that want to show up on sunday (I'm sure we'd have at least 3 for that sunday - myself, andy and evan)

Yea you'd be too late to make it...we'd be finishing up the trails by that time and getting ready to leave.

I'm guna probably be there on sunday but I'm not sure about saturday just yet.

BTW...are you riding in the ironman? I rode it last year in the first year racer class on a quad....it was a blast. I normally ride mx...but talk about a time...those hills and creek crossings are soo much fun. I hope to race it this year too...and if thats the case I definitley won't make it saturday.

No, I'm not riding. I would wiz myself on that track. I have been going as a spectator for about the past 8-10 years. Last year, the day of the race was the day I picked up the KJ. I drove from the dealer to the track.

I guess I won't be able to make it to Attica on Saturday then. FastTRX let me know if are going race. I'll keep an eye out for ya...maybe help dig you out of some mud or pull you out of a creek.

Hah...I had my KJ down there last year too....it was unlifted but it was down there! 8)

The track is indeed brutal...a good friend broke his thumb hitting a tree at the beginning of the start...I lost a wheel/tire and rear brakes...ended up making 3 complete laps and like half a lap when I rolled the wheel off the axle. It wasn't my honda either... I'll let you know if I do ride...I'm trying to find someone who can lend me another quad to ride...

It's looking like I won't make this on saturday....but I do want to wheel with whoever wants to stay on sunday...that is definitley open for me.
