Let's start the discussion now. Where do we want to go for this years trick or jeep? Last years event at Crown King and Lake Pleasant was awesome. Let's hear ideas for our events committee for this years location!

A ghost town along the border... South of Tuscon. :)

That will be scary... if the ghost don't you the drug trafficers will.

I have an activity 17-19th that I would like to go too... but don't want to book if Trick or Jeep will be then.

Florence Junction or the 4 Peaks area might be kinda cool.
What month does this event take place it? I'd love to come

Also, if you guys are looking for sponsors, please hit me up!

Normally October - the name is a take-off of 'Trick or Treat'. As for the sponsorship, PM sent.

Sooo, is this going to happen? Let's get some discussion going on people.

pablo, is that a hint for me? I think Sonoita has some neat easy trails, not sure about camping.

Mike... my vote is for something down your way. Sonoita sounds good. You, Vern, Russ and others are always traveling up this way, it's time we pay you guys a visit....

Anybody been down in the Lochiel area? I have yet to run that area.

Of course I'm we can always do something down on the border area again, was planning on another turkey day run, but can be rearranged. Only prob down here is camping areas. I mean, there's plenty of open desert, but no amenities there. :(

planning committee??? any plans/ ideas?

Well, I don't know about the budget, but if we got port-o-poties and some water trucked in we could do it anywhere, the question is one of cost.

But further down south would be neato.

Perhaps it is time for a meeting in a week or so and we should call everyone and let them know?

OK first let's pick a date. How about the weekend of 10/25-10/26. Then a location. I vote for a southern run also. Events committee- (Tammy, Todd and Paul) set us up with an event. Let us know how we can help. I am doing a run in the cochise stronghold area this weekend. There is camping in the cochise stronghold or chiracahua monument areas. I'll report back next week

The Cochise area will be cool too. Nothing super tough up that way, plus the Chiris are just across the way. Plenty of exploring to do. Vern, please let us know how that goes. Are you going with Jeep Expeditions? They'll be up there this week too. I so forgot about that, i meant to register for it last spring. Dang. Oh well, you can fill us in.

Well if it's that weekend then y'all enjoy the run. I'm booked for a trip to Margaritaville via Vegas (and I may not come back :P ), got the tickets in my hand and the flip-flops are ready to go...

Count Beth and myself in!!! We won't be camping, so hopefully there will be a motel or two not far away. While we've kept up with most folks in their lifted KJ's... keep in mind there may be some stock height Liberty's like us that want to attend, so don't get to radical on the trails.

OT: Vern have fun on your run this weekend!!! Too bad you or nobody else could make the trip with us to OUray for our High Altitude Expedition ~ 2008. We're leaving tomorrow afternoon.

AJ, have a great trip. To bad some of us have jobs, lol. Working hard now so I can play later. :) I can't wait for pics.

That 3rd or 4th weekend should work for me. AJ, most of the trails down this way are too crazy.
