I have found that if you click the rear light on or off it will affect all of the lights. You may have to play with it to figure out what it is doing.
So far it was a one time thing, and turning the ignition off and back on again without touching anything else fixed it. It was very strange. I'll have to investigate further if it happens again, but I'm really not sure that any amount of looking around will help me figure out what caused it.

As far as the gate staying locked...can't really help you there since even when I click the button for the glass on the remote it still unlocks the gate.
yeah, it was very strange. You know how there's two ways you can pull the handle? You pull it so that the handle moves, and the glass flips up, and if you pull it harder, the whole door opens AND the glass flips up? Well, I pulled on it, and only the glass came up. Kept pulling, nothing. Put the glass down, popped it back up, locked doors, unlocked doors, many iterations. Finally decided to just load the back through the open flip glass, problem fixed itself by time I got home.
My best guess so far is that it has something to do with the auto-locking above X mph when driving. Maybe it somehow got stuck in the locked mode, so no amount of locking/unlocking doors was going to fix it....until I drove away and hit that magic speed, which reset it again.
