Any input as to what brand of pad seems to fit the liberty best?

Current pads on our 02 Libby tend to hang up, annoying to drive (pulls, grinding feeling).

Thanks,

Rob.

I hear the NAPA ceramic pads are good. Your 2002 has rear drums.

if yoru pads are grinding or hanging up I would look farther than the pads themselves.

Napa Ceramics and EBC Greenstuffs are the way to go.

My Greenstuffs I've had though, tend to not grab very well when cold, like the Hawks I have now do. Other than that, they're great (aside from the Hawks being noisy as hell and EXPENSIVE)

I've got a squeaking noise coming from the front drivers side. Really annoying when the window is down. Primarily happens when the vehicle is moving at slow speed. I took the disk and caliper off and scoured the disk. Although the noise went away for a bit, it's back again. Seems as though the squeak is coming from the shim between the pad and the caliper assembly. Does that seem possible?

Pads still have lots of meat on them, but I didn't measure the disk. Rear pads look like they'll need to be done fairly soon. Does anyone know the minimum specs for the pads and disks?

Does anybody know what the deal with that is? Sure would be nice to never hear it again

Has to do with the wear pattern on the rotor and pad,and since you mostly stop while going forward the wear pattern is in that direction,in reverse it's all wrong and can make noise. Also the trailing edge wear pad that isolates the pad from the caliper mount rarely gets any pressure unless stopping in reverse and that will make noise also.
