Post subject: Testing my new winch and tire chains
PostPosted: Mon Mar 09, 2009 1:06 am
i decided to have fun trying to make it up this hill covered in powder. Could not do it until i put the chains on.

The new winch and chains.

Do you think they'll rub?

The hill was steeper than this picture shows.

I thought i was invincible with the chains until i got stuck driving through the ditch for fun.

Oh well, time to try out the new winch.

It was real fun walking through waist deep snow to hook up that line. Almost pulled the tree over with the winch too.

overall, a good day. :D

Especially with those chains....those are some serious hardware. Little traction spikes sticking up from each cross piece.

Mmmmmm powder. Sorry I've been craving some snowboarding action lately. Where were you driving at? Just curious b/c it seems so dry this winter as far as snow goes.

ObiHann, you should get a titan winch. That's what i have and it works real great. He's based out of Ontario. You can get a 10K for like $400.

Yes, you need a winch Obi. And pirates were all about wenches, not winches.
