With all this talk of bumpers lately, I was thinking, what happened to the write up somebody did about a washer bottle replaement? It's not in the tech articles so it must have just been a regular thread on the old board. Would whoever did that write up mind reposting it? Cause if all these people do get new bumpers, they'll need to relocate their washer bottles at the same time.

I'd be interested in that write-up, too. Especially since my washer bottle is zip tied up under the hood since the bumper was cut. (It may not be fancy, but it works.)

Drill holes for pump and sensor and add about 14 inches of wire. The hoses will reach the fender. Use 2 self tapping screws to mount on fender.

ARGH!

I just ordered this part and then looked at your pics again. I've got a control module of some sort mounted right there on my KJ. Do you not have ABS perhaps?

Shoot. now I gotta cancel this order and see what bottle will fit up in this KJ engine compartment.

its for the people that cut bumpers and/or get after market bumpers. the washer bottle hangs in the way of the new approach angle or is just a plain eye sore if you trim or get new bumper

Yes, I find the ARB shield is fine. It's not in the way IMO. I think some just don't like the way it looks having the shield there.

I have the ARB and used the shield. It looks fine since it's painted black and the rest of the bumper I had painted body color. Really helps it look invisible.

The shield is quite flimsy, still hangs down, and is prone to damage.
Much cheaper to get a $10.00 over flow bottle and relocate it than having to replace the washer pump if it gets broken.
