Dealer caller this afternoon...asked who had serviced my tranny because the level is high and not looking like ATF4. I replied no one sir, except the 5star tech who serviced my Jeep when it was classified a Chrysler Certified Used Vehicle 2 years ago right before I puchased it. "Oh, OK he said" then he said the front pump is dead, the torque converter is locked up and the were pulling the pan off as we spoke to see what else.

Sounds more like you have a CRD. If they give you any choices when they rebuild this, ask for the new re-designed pump. It has an improved seal design that is supposed to prevent this kind of failure.

Yes I have a gasser, that's why it sometimes gets parked in favor of the Olds when gas prices rise a little to high for the wallet.

Well they got the new tranny in and got it installed. When they took it for the road test everything shifted smooth and it was running great until the check engine light came on. It was diagnosed as a dead O2 sensor and of course they have none of those in stock so it had to be ordered. The KJ will be spending the long weekend at the dealer.
