WOW. Now why can't I be that lucky?
I park my KJ next to huge trees that look like will fall from a bird landing on it but it never does.

once I parked my KJ in a mall parking lot in the winter during a snow storm hoping a snow plow would hit a light pole and it would land on my KJ. My luck the ford escape next to me got hit by the snow plow and moved 30 feet or so and never touched my KJ!

Whats up fellas? I had said I would keep you guys updated on the whole TJ thing, so here goes. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY TJ, BUT I MISS MY KJ!!! :banghead: In an ideal world I would have both, and use the KJ for more of my daily driving activities, and the TJ for off road fun. There are so many parts available for the TJ, that it's easy to fall in love with, as well as get a divorce over the money pit of a vehicle you purchased. So far all I've installed are some basic accessories that add to the look and function, but soon I will be installing a lift, and larger tires, etc... you know the big $$$ stuff. So far its been alot of fun to drive, but I did want to make a point from all this. KJ owners, go outside and give your Jeep a huge hug, as a KJ is a very good compromise between the off road capabilities of the TJ and the mall-rated nature of the grand cherokee. All I'm saying, for those that might be considering a switch, just realize that there are times when you want a nice relatively bump free ride home from work, and the TJ does not offer that. Or better yet, there are times when you might need more cargo space than the TJ can offer. My KJ definately had more space, smoother ride, and was pretty darn capable offroad, even in stock form. Just some food for thought. I do like the attention my new Jeep gets me, but truthfully I think the KJ is more user friendly. Less road noise(even with the hardtop) and luxuries like power door locks, and windows.

I did setup a car domain page for the TJ in case you guys wanna check it out. Don't forget to sign my guestbook if you do stop by. Hope I gave you guys a little added appreciation for your KJ's :JEEPIN:

A shame. If you could've waited to get the KJ paid off, then you would've had money to get a used TJ, CJ, YJ or whatever other Jeep to mod for off-road pleasures and have the KJ for DD.

I enjoy my KJ as a DD and an off-road toy. I have thought about getting a used car for DD to get better gas mileage.

Actually, take a look at the first page in this thread. My KJ was paid off, but some a**hole in a tar roofing truck took care of it one night while I was sleeping. Completely totaled.

How on this earth is that a total!?!?!?!?!?! Nothing new body parts or a paint job couldn't take care of at least. I bet your adjuster is a Toy fan hahahaha Must be a joke................

How is it a total loss? Easy, add up cost of parts, paint and labor, and the price to do the job is more than the value. I am sure someone will snag the Liberty, and put it back on the road after some cosmetic work.

I wheeled my Libby with some folks from a local jeep shop over the weekend. I have to agree that the Libby is a great compromise. It was my first time out and I did well. better than anyone eles expected. I would love a TJ or modded base XJ for off road too. but the libby is just fine and rides great, mine being a CRD gets decent MPG too. After wheeling all day everyone was talking to me about my KJ and how I liked it. They all thought I have the most comfortable ride home.
