Ok so the pads I got from work (Pepboys) are starting to squeel like hell while cold but the squeeling will go away once they heat up. I got the Platinum pads which are the mid-grade ones. They still stop fine but I want to replace them as I can't stand the squeeling and since I need to replace the rotors I might as well do the pads along with them.

So my question to all of you are what pads and rotors do you all run? I know a lot of you run Napa Adaptive Ones and their rotors but I want to do something different. I know there are the Black magic pads as well but spending $240 something for just front pads and rotors is not my cup of tea, especially since I would need different pads since they don't make rear ones.

So what else is out there besides Napa Adaptives and Black Magic?

As I posted elsewhere, I went with Power Stop Evolution ceramic pads and Bendix rotors, front and rear. Great stopping power and no squealing whatsoever.

I got 'em at my local parts house, but Rockauto has them as well.

Responded on JKJ, but look into Centric rotors and EBC Green stuff pads. Seems like a good setup 1700 miles in. Not real pricey either.

Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with powerstop cermic pads. So far so good 8000miles. I have no fade with them and drive the I70/Eisenhower run frequently. For the price I highly recomend. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FL ... UTF8&psc=1
144.00 shipped!

I had way different experiences with BENDIX.... They were the fastest warping rotor I've ever ran...

More than likely going with Centric Premium rotors and Akebono ACT pads

Some people will find a way to warp anything but i did have people refer to Bendix as bendys. I've usually used ray or omix from the hd section when they warp they seem to unwarp and it doesn't seem to happen till there's groves around the edges saying replace me

Rotors are sort of like underwear , some find one type more comfortable than others
