Yesterday, (5/27/06) I was involved in an auto accident. I was driving in the rain, coming up to an intersection with a green light, heard a siren and was looking to see where it was coming from. I was coasting, with the clutch in but not braking. At the same time I saw the police car lights to my left and noticed the car in front was stopped. I hit the brakes but slid into the car in front. Nobody was injured, in either vehicle. I would estimate I hit the 1991 Chrysler Fifth Avenue at 10 to 15 mph. The only damage I could find on my 2002 Liberty with an ARB bumper was scratched paint. and a broken license plate frame. I can't believe the air bag didn't go off. Here is a picture of the car I hit.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/ ... /Wreck.jpg I feel bad about the car but I can't believe how strong this ARB bumper is. The Frankenlift also contributed to minmizing the damage to the Liberty. I'm not telling you this to brag, just wanted to share with you how well built this bumper is. Now for the insurance premiums  . First accident in many years. I guess sooner or later the ding God will get you!!

I can't boast a story quite that intense but shortly after I installed my ARB I also got my windows tinted.

If you have tinted windows you know it takes some getting used to at night. Otherwise take my word for it.

So I was driving like a complete idiot who was just too happy to have his new tinted windows and I was doing like 30-35 in a parking lot.

BOOM! Cart coral.

Aftermath....a scuff on the bumper from the paint on the coral rail.

I was just discussing with someone today how badly I would like to see what the ARB will do to a deer.

( I think I posted all this in a different forum already too, oh well )

EDIT: OMFG LOL WTFBBQSAUCE @ that dudes car, he must have thought he was being terrorized by some kind of monster.

ARB has a picture of a Land Cruiser with a Bull Bar hitting a 70' Ford LTD or something like it. The car was mangaled! If I remember right, the car ran the stop sign and the Land Cruiser hit it. Hardly a dent in the bumper. I don't think a deer will fair well!
