Does anyone have any photos of pre-2005 taillight assemblies? I'd like to see what the bulb housing looks like for the turn signals. The goal is to use a 3157 bulb in the turn signal instead of a 3757A. Or if there is a such thing as a 3757 without the A, I could use that. I want to have white turn signals, and as far as I can tell, they are legal in MA.

In the 2005, the bulb has offset notches instead of symmetric and three tabs for twisting the socket into the housing. The two conductors are opposite on the socket.

The 3157 sockets have three conductors (for tail + brake, both filaments), two opposite tabs for screwing them in, and symmetric bulb tabs:

I'm curious to see if the pre-2005 liberty uses a 3157 bulb since it has an amber lense. If so, and if it has the same three-prong connection for twisting the socket in and same conductor pattern, I'd like to retro-fit a pre-2005 bulb socket into my 2005.

PS - VIP Auto does not stock the 3757A amber turn signal bulb I need. The computer in the aisle correctly identifies that I need it, but the one on the counter incorrectly says I can use a 3157A.
