Dude that sucks...and probably is the only spare part you don't already have in one of your "warehouses"...hopefully he was smiling when the camera got him...as long as Wally World was actually recording.

That stinks Tom. Sorry to see that. Good luck getting any help from WalMart Cameras either. Had that happen to a friend in WalMart lot too. WalMart policy is they have to have a court order to get video of the crime, or so he was told.

Maybe good ol' LilBlackLiberty could get you an inside track on surveillance video since he is a mgr at WalMart if I recall correctly. Y'all were pretty tight if I recall.

I talked to Walmart security, they would not let me see the tape or anything of course. I told the guy that if it was his car sitting out there with a busted window I bet he could find rewind then! :ROTFL:
Told him in a very few words what he could do with his cameras.
I think he understood!

I haven't started to stock pile glass yet, guess I'll have to now.

I can't stand a theif. Even worse is one who breaks your property to steal. I'm all for the chopping off of hands.

I am going to venture a guess to say the cost to replace the glass was under your deductible and they notified you they arent going to cover the GPS??

effin walmart!! man that sucks, what a nice xmas gift... i've had this happen a few times myself (never in the jeep) back when i lived in columbus, oh. i kept finding bits of glass for about a year...
unfortunately, most insurance companies dont cover gps because it's not technically a part of the car since its not something installed. if it was an in dash gps, it would be covered... :furious:

That seriously sucks Tom!

I hope the cops catch them before you do :) I have a feeling they'd be better off in jail than attached to your ARB  Didn't you want a new hood ornament!

I always worry that is going to happen to me, but like you, I don't usually shop at walmart, so it would likely happen the one time I do.

Well, that jut sucks Tom. I had that done waaayyyy back when I was 18, stole my radio and money I had in there, broke my back window to get in. With the economy and Christmas, not surpised they did it in broad daylight. Bet the stole the Christmas cards thinking they might have money in them.

Didn't you have your last one stolen out of the Libby while it was in the garage?

Man, Tom... that sucks big time.

If you want to replace your GPS you might want to look at Sam's Wholesale Club. They have a 5 inch Garmin Nuvi 1450 for $129. I don't see as well as I used to so the 5 incher really helps (The 5 inch GPS). If your auto insurance doesn't cover your loss of the GPS you might want to check your homeowners insurance. Sometimes they will cover stuff like that.

I know how you feel about insurance. My granddaughter had a couple of fender benders and they went up on my premium for THREE YEARS! I sat down and figured that between my homeowner's and auto policies I had paid in over $57,000 over the years. A couple of fender benders and they up my premium? Oh Well!

No, his people are too busy being lazy faking to look for work while collecting their unemployment after getting fired for cause. I love secret rule changes that allowed people who were fired to get unemployment!!! First thing he changed....

Sorry Tom... As for why we have insurance, because it is the current version of the mafia extorsion... almost like politicians!
