In us models there is a vacant slot for the day-time running lights relay on interior fuse panel. One of the slots becomes hot with brights and another becomes hot w/ headlights. So you can wire it however you want. I put my switch where the light bar switch normally goes. Totally clean!

Everyone seems to be using Hella's or other similar slim lights. Is it possible to use deep lights (around 4.5")? Here are the lights I am thinking of using...

Around where I live, those lights on the front bumper would last, ohh, maybe 3 seconds...

Haha, people back into you alot and stuff? They been hit a couple of times, of course the car was going really slow. Ive even hit a pole in a parking lot with them. It wasnt anything hard though, I just eased up until the jeep stopped moving. It was basically the torque the tranny puts through at idle pushing on them. It just pushes them back and I end up needing to re-focus them.

I actually measure 4.5" is too deep. The bumper is only 4".

I LOVE how yours look... and my next project is driving lights - but I too would be worried about them getting smashed to easy.

They have been hit a couple of times. Once my bro hit them in a corolla but not hard, and the other time I hit a light pole in a parking lot. I just barley touched it and then the torque the tranny puts out at idle was pushing on them.
