I don't know about that Pennziol Rescue. I wouldn't put it in my tank...especially since I have a CRD. I also don't think they make it any more. I can't find it on the Pennzoil site anyway.

I almost got stranded without any diesel in MA when I was up there for my brother's wedding. Ended up pushing the CRD for 57 miles after the light came on (using a very soft pedal and not letting the turbo spool up much). After I saw an open station that had diesel...FINALLY filled up...20.7 gallons.

I believe it was 05 that the KJ tank went up to 20.5 gallons. I haven't seen that in writing though. But I do know that the '05 CRD filler hose carries at least .2 gallons.

I was up in vermont last winter at around 11pm. I saw that I had 46 miles left on the tank and decided to get off at the next exit to fill up. Little did I know that the state of vermont CLOSES at like 8pm on a Friday night. I went to two different closed gas stations (each 2 or 3 miles from the highway) before I called for assistance. I was down to 9 miles on the tank when I decided to stop in an easy-to-find location. Too bad AAA couldn't tell me where to find open gas stations (the locals seemed to know where the cumbys was though, and I had to pass by another 2 or 3 closed stations to get there).

That was back when I first got the jeep - I now know that "9 miles left" can go for a long time, but that when I'm driving in a place with no gas stations, just fill up whenever you see one.
