A little more info on using the relay box, please?

Sure. Just open the cover of the box (its right in front of the battery). On the left side is a cable that comes from the positive terminal on the battery. There are two bolts with 10mm nuts holding the metal plate connector in place. Just unscrew one bolt (or both if ya need to) and hook up the power wires for your lights or whatever. Its about a 4ga. wire coming in so it'll definitely handle the extra draw.

I'm not sure I can do that. I don't think I have enough slack to make it to the relay box :(

price for the moment. I got all 3 sets from a great guy on EBay that only had driving lights. The fog version is like $90 retail and I can't find them on EBay. If/When I ever do find a cheaper set of fogs, I will replace one of the driving sets on the rack.

I figure 2 drivings sets on the rack, 1 fog set on the rack, and 1 fog set on my bumper should pretty much eliminate any darkness I encounter.

what are you going to put in the rear for backing up or hooking up the trailer?

Do you have anymore details or other tips for running wire?

How long did this all take you....

I like the low profile lights... less likely to get cracked by rocks

I hope to do something similar once I figure wiring.

i'm not sure about backup lights, when I get a fog set to replace one of the driving sets, I will probably hook the driving set up and use the stock backup light as the relay trigger. Maybe mount them to the bottom of the bumper or find some way to mount them to the gas skid.

As far as wiring tips, I just wanted to keep as much as possible in the cab. There is about 4" of wire between my door weather stripping at the back top corner where it runs to the rack, and the power/ground going into the engine. everything else, including the relays, are in the cab.

Total time was about 1 week. All 3 sets came at different times, and being me, I had to install them as they came. Installing the first set took maybe 1-1.5 hours since I had to figure everything out. To install another set, you pretty much have to completely uninstall the set before it. the final install, running all 3 sets of wire, lights and mounting took maybe an hour, if that.
