Hey moose, that strobe on the line is where the timer I mentioned would come into play. You could program it to trigger an event after startup. You may actually need something like one of the programmers used to control furnaces or other industrial equipment. There was someone here that made their own remote start for the CRD using a programmer. If you could find out who that was I am sure they could help. Seems like this is more of a problem for the Manual tranny folks than anything else. Oh and remember I do not RECOMMEND doing this so you are on your own if you actually try it.
