Thanks for all the input. I think I will stay with the blackwalls, but we'll see.

Now I just have to wait for All J Products to get the Rubi's shipped. I was told they would ship on 09/05/06, but have not heard from them as of yet. :(

Left message with them on 09/08/06 in AM (didn't return call), sent e-mail 09/08/06 in PM. Maybe I'll hear something by Monday. :?

Have you checked how clean the White letters are since they have been facing in? Depending on how much you have driven on them they may have stained or faded since they face in.

Just an idea. However, I run with White Letters out at this time. My next set of tires will be black out (and MT's).

Still no word from All-J. :(

Didn't get off work in time to call them today, but I will have time Tuesday.

I got my Rubi's on Friday. All-j's idea of "mild" rock rash is a little under stated. I got most of the rim edges cleaned up (some what) with a file & a sander. One rim has two "dents" in the outer edge that I can't fix, but they are only cosmetic (as long as the tire shop dosn't need to put weights right there).

The main problem is that one of the wheels dosn't even match the other four. I got four 2003 rims, and one 2005 (I think). The '03s have the smooth walls between spokes, the '05 has stepped walls.

I have e-mailed them about this, to see if I can exchange it for one that matches, can't beleave they didn't notice the missmatch.

So far I'm NOT imprest with All-J's customer service

If you have been reading this post so far,

was told 3-4 days to get the wheels- took almost 2 weeks

was told miner rash & scratches- one has 2 DENTS (they aren't too bad)in the edge/ one was really bad

was told a set of 5- one does not even match (the really bad one)

when I send e-mail or leave a message- takes them a week to get back to me (if they even do) or I have to keep calling till I get a person. I sent an e-mail about the missmatched wheel on the 15th, still have not heard back.

I'm having the other 4 Rubi wheels mounted today, just have to wait on the spare (I hate having missmatched wheels on it  ). I'm hopeing the dents don't cause air leaks or balance problems.

I hear alot about how great All-J's service is... but I'm not getting it. :?

That sucks dude. But the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Harrass them till you get taken care of.

Not that it necessarily excuses them, but I thought I'd mention that All J is in the process of moving from Colton, CA to Big Bear, and so things are a little crazy there right now.

Sorry, I didn't know they were moving, but still?

Thanks, I agree they should be a stock option. "Liberty Off-Road" package!!

E-locker's front & rear
4.10:1 gears
skids
hooks
winch
factory 2" lift
16"x8" Rubi's
LT255/70R16's

oh, that would be a Liberty Rubicon wouldn't it?

Jeep would never do it.

yeah itll never happen, and its cuz of money. For the price all that costs, you'd be much better off just getting a TJ Rubi

I suppose you could hang them on those aftermarket holy $&%# straps that most people get for the roll cage on TJ's. LOL that'd be funny seeing someone driving down the road with groceries dangling by their head.

I tried to talk my wife into a TJ/LJ, but she just has to have power windows. Maybe when the '07 JK is more avalible I will try again or maybe if they do go CRD in '08!!

edit

Sorry for my rant earlier, I work in auto parts too, but we all forget sometimes that sales gets buisy & days off & vacaitions. I just get too impatient sometimes. It's strange to be the customer for a change.

All-J is a great company & has gotten me set up with another wheel.
Keep up the good work, and Thank You.

Andrew
