Mine came from my ex wifes son, who was 4 at the time. One day she was mad at me for the 72nd time that day and my response was,"My name might as well be MUD!" Well her son started telling everyone that his step fathers name was Tom Mud , kind of stuck then others than knew I liked to 4 wheel and play in the mud were thinking was because of that , but he was the one who started it. Somehow the extra D was added and now instead of Tom even my wife calls me Mudd!

Sorry, no cool story on how I came up with this one. Real simple: I cook for a living- hence the chef and my initials DAB.

Mine is pretty simple as well. My last name is Koles and ever since I can remember, Kolesy has been my nick name and what everyone calls me. No one else ever has a sn name of mine.

Mine was given to me in 1982 during high school track season by the Sophomores. I had many other nicknames, some okay, some bad. This one was okay and I like to use it. I used it when Netscape first came out for the internet and mIRC came out in the early 90's. A lot of people call me "Joe" a lot. No, my first, middle, or last name is not Joe or some form of it.

I am half-Japanese.

It is interesting that there is a movie out there called Tokyo Joe (1950's - Humphery Bogart was in it).

When I moved to the Denver metro nearly six years ago, I discovered that there is a Japanese fast food restaurant here called Tokyo Joe's. I have a cycling jersey with their logo on it. Funny!

I have a white sport model KJ. Instead of using the name stonewhitepearlcoatsport, I went with snowsport because I like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the backwoods. :) That was a darn good question, Jeger.

On Jeepforum.com I signed up as Nan. Real original huh? I had to think of something better for this site but I apparently was not feeling crafty that day. So I'm in California with a Freedom Edition. Many of my friends call me Wenchie, but that didn't seem like it'd fly well. I just got some mail today that had that listed as my first name!

My username is my nickname from my high school baseball days. It is derived from my last name and the fact that I have a very keen sense of smell. J/K I use it because I prefer it to my other nickname which is Cowpie  and that is already taken on the board.

Well mine comes from the haunted house I work at. My name is Chris and one of the other managers name was Chrissy. Over the radio you can't really tell which one they were talking too. My buddy started calling me Parakeet since my last name is Canary and it has stuck. The 4wd is pretty self explanitory. There are times that I'll answer to Parakeet after not paying attention to my name being called now.

Parakeet

Whiteguts: My KJ has the white leather seats and door panels. A car salesman friend always refers to interiors as 'guts' and always commented on how he liked my 'white guts'

Two reasons.

First they get out now and then and the Liberty is great for chasing them back in!!!

Second, I love trains. Cowcathers are an integral part of most steam locomotives. I model some in N Scale.
