Agreed, turning is the problem and not that big of deal. 4x4 is made to me used, not to be afraid to use. Comon sense goes a long way here. I use my 4x4 system at least once a month, it keeps it freed up and working well. It's not a problem most of the time as I use it here on my mini farm to go back to the barn, but now it's to wet, don't want to make ruts. So when I get on a strech of straight road, I kick it into 4-high for a couple of miles. Here in the flat lands of northern ohio, straight roads aren't hard to find. Even mild turns aren't to bad. Sharp turns on dry road should be avoided when posible. It's easy enough to move the lever, make your sharp turn and go on. I believe it is a good idea to use the 4x4 often to keep it working properly and the more you use it, the easier it works, takes the stiffness out of it to a degree. Don't be afraid to use your system, just use comon sense and do read your manual, a lot of good info. As stated, if we couldn't use the 4x4 in the dry, we'ld be screwed offroad in a lot of situations.
