Picked none "new " Liberty is ugly and since I had to drag a jk 4 door out of trouble 3 times this past weekend, I would never buy one of them, too wide, too long, too much not good about them.

Ultimatley, I would buy a Rubicon 2 door but they are way out of my price range so I will be sticking with my Lib. I like it but I'm not 100% crazy about it, frustrated with ball joint issues/recalls and a few other quirky things, the girlie jeep reputation gets old after a while too but that's not important.

So unless I have serious problems with my Lib or I get a great deal on a Rubi, I will most likely stick with what I have. Although I do kind of like the Patriot too and love what they are boasting about gas mileage. Seeing as I dont offroad much and when I do it is light, this could be a good option for me.

Ever since I sold the wrangler (33's)(two jeeps ago) I've missed it for the open top and off road capability. I loved my Cherokee (31's) and I really like the comfort of the Liberty (31's). I do, however, have one general Jeep complaint.

The never allow enough room in the wheelwells for decent tires. They assume we want to prove ourselves with smaller donuts on the trails even with lifted jeeps. Heck, I can do it after years of experience with baby tires, but I want to be ab;e to fit 33's inside stock wheelwells.

Other manufacturers have heard, look at the Toyota Cruiser, nice. Look at the H3, nice.

At least they are getting close with the wheelwells of the newer Wranglers.

Give me anything, but with bigger stock tires and wheelwells!!!!!!!

PS. I may trade it for a new Rubicon in the future. (How about the 2008 Diesel F-150

i voted for the 4-door wrangler because 2 door wrangler wasn't a option.

Thow a properly engineered diesel JK in the mix and you would have a real winner in my book.

Making a 4 door wrangler really should have been a no-brainer for jeep. How many people do you know that either "cant get a jeep" or "had to sell the jeep" because its "not the best for car seats". Seriously, people love wranglers, but the old two doors just arent practical for the average household. The new JK however is a jack of all trades in the modern world, that is what a jeep should be.
