Are all these "users" coming from the same IP (IP range)?

Perhaps we should just configure Apache to drop all requests from known SPAMer ip's (countries)-- mainly Asian and Russian countries.

Plus there is this SPAM filter, I have not used it, but perhaps LOST should?

Ok guys. I locked the board back up to Admin approval only for new users. I had no idea it would get this out of control while we were all in Moab. I deleted over 50 spammers that had signed up over the past 3 days. UNBELIEVABLE.

Sorry about all the porn. We work very hard to keep this the best web site on the net.
