Yeah, I was really lucky to get those Moabs and MT/R's. I was able to get a new EVIC for $29 because no one bid on ebay because they misspelled the ad.

Nothing else outstandingly cool for the Lib, but I have had really good luck with vehicles I've sold

$3500 F150 sold for $7500

$2700 Acura Integra sold for $6100

$23000 G35 sold for $27500

$6200 Aprilia Tuono sold for $7700

$12500 Dodge Ram sold for $17500

With all the profit I was able to pay off the remainder of both my and my wife's college loans and the remainder of our debt. We are now debt free other than two vehicles. Pretty good for a married couple in their late 20's/ early 30's.

darn, are you 'curbing' cars for a dealership or what? Do you have a dealership license or are you modding these vehicles up b4 selling? That is some nice profit after playing with the cars.... I am envious.

darn that is some nice $$$$

Thought i did well a few years back on a 93' ninja zx7r. I paid $1500 for it because it didn't run. Just had to clean out the carbs and sold it 2 weeks later for $2500. Also had an 89' bmw 325is paid $700 for it becuase it was rear ended i dumped about $1k into it drove it for a year and sold it for $3000

No, not at all. I am completely honest in my transactions because my integrity is everything to me. The only thing I do, really, is understand supply and demand. I buy low on really good deals, drive the vehicle, and when my life situation or desires change I sell the vehicle. Because I maintain them so well (and I DO upmod them) and try to make sure whoever is buying is completely satisfied, it always works out. I sold most of my vehicles on ebay. I would do things like drive the vehicle to the potential buyers house so he could look at it, test drive it, or take requested photos, or fax maintanence records, or just stuff that I would want done for me. People appreciate this and are willing to spend a little extra for something they know was well maintained.

No, i'm no car dealer (I still have a soul) I just really like cars and have rotated through them pretty fast.

I'm keeping my Lib for a looooong time though. :) IMHO its just about perfect. It has plenty of soul, small and manueverable, plenty of space inside, great 4x4 system, looks awesome, simple and easy to work on, etc etc etc.

I bought it for my wife as a baby hauler, camping vehicle, and to get the Audi away from her because NO woman cares for a vehicle like a man, but since driving it I loved it and decided to keep it, modify it, and make it even more awesome for those camping/beach/mountain/wheeling trips, and so she could keep her Audi A4. We are both happy now!

Does buying from JPARTS count? I got my rockrails from the for sale section but they were $150? I am the second sucker - I usually buy retail

Just bought a set of Spidertrax last night for $125.00 shipped so not too bad.
Kilby gas tank skid from a dealer but scratched $128.00 shipped
and then all this together:
ARB bumper 2 months old, front Renegade fenders cut for the ARB, upper control arms, Rocky Road front OTT LIFT (make good door stops  ) rear daystar blocks, and some other stuff for $315.00, did have to drive to Chicago area to pick it up!
Bought 5 Moabs with 1/2 tread MTRs for $250 sold them back to the same guy 4 days later for $325 after I cleaned them up and painted them. Hey he offered me $325 so why should I argue!
Best deal ever was a 78 Olds 98 I bought in 87 from a friend for 500, deer hit me on the way home, 700 in damage, worked in a body shop fixed it for free, woman ran a red light and totaled it, got 1750 from insurance and kept the car, sold the car out in pieces for over 1400.

The best deal I can think of was my Airraid throttle body spacer from eBay. I paid $19 for it brand new in the box. Not bad considering they go for about $140 + shipping. I took it off and sold it on eBay for over $55.
