I bought a used 2005 Liberty Sport. I was looking for a silver because I've always owned silver colored cars. I have always thought that the silver was a more 'elegant' color but because the Liberty was a great deal I went for my first white vehicle. It's a 'bone' white (more cream white) which is really better than a flat white (cheaper looking in my opinion). So, I went for it. After 6 months I am more than happy with the color. White is really a great color. Everyone has grey (silver), navy blue, red, etc. But white really is a great color. Now that I've had the white for awhile I don't even think I would get the silver anymore. Believe me, If you go with white it will grow on you and you will love it. Just my 2 cents. Good luck. Go with the year, etc and don't worry about the white. It will be as good as blue or silver and you will love it. It will will make you feel special with the bone white color. Also, in the mormings, when I wake up and look out the window at my Libby, I see the most awesome color from the morning sun radiating off of the cream white color. It will amaze you and remind you off how great it is to be a Jeep Liberty owner in white.

Didnt fit it myself, got my favourite 4by shop to do it & yes they said it was a real PITA. Manufacturer says to get a panelshop to fitrather than a 4by shop. Quite a few guys on the east coast (Oz) have done it themselves, suppose if you have the time & tools anything can be done.

Thought about spraying it white, paint peels & looks crap tho, as we are drought in Oz I use it more for clean air on dusty trails esp. when in convoy, helps the filter last longer, not too many water crossings on the west coast. All good tho, love the sound of the turbo spooling up through the intake as its on the drivers side downunder.

Hijack completed

Here is Texas I would never own a "dark color" vehicle...just too darn HOT

The good thing about white is that the black or gunmetal grey add-ons look good...tires/rims/roof baskets/bumpers/snorkels/ect.

Actually they had a segment on Mythbusters last night about the black vs white color car in the summer thing. The black car ended up being 5 F hotter than the white one when all was said and done.....
