This has always been a problem, remember when they started using them back in the 70s people complained and they still use them yet today to save a dollar or two when they build them, Ford used to be really bad with some models.

Oh size should be 1/2 inch by 20

Do yourself a favor and dump the factory lugs, once the caps loosen then they start falling off constantly. I kept having it happend and the stealership wants $6-$8 a piece to replace them. I got some good after market solids that look almost identical for $25 which included the spare tire. Havent had a problem since and they look great.

where and what brand? $25 for a 5 sets? having this loose cap problem on the wifes 02 and yes....we have 3 Liberties in the driveway. :D

OFF TOPIC I know but It was always fun training new guys that came to work at the tire shop, watching them try to take a wheel off of the left side of an old Dodge etc.

Not so fun when you're on the side of the road at night in a snowstorm, already twisted off one lug nut; watching a police officer twist off a second before you realize that they're LH threads.

Dang! I got half-chewed toast on my computer! That's some funny stuff. I remember those left handers, quite the p1ss-off if you didn't know about them.
