Years ago when my Dad and I built a Dune buggy when the time came to put the snaps for the convertable top in the windshield frame, Dad's Masonic rings diamond put nice little scatches in our brand new windshield. We went to a jewlery store and got some Jewlers Rouge and buffed the scatches out. If your windsheilds acne is really bothering you but you don't want to buy a new windsheild, try Jewlers Rouge and a little Elbow Greese

Thanks for the help guys. I will likely leave them alone, now that I know there are only little surface chips.

As luck would have it, yesterday I was driving home, across a temporary bridge. There is a grade when you go off the bridge with gravel. A friend of mine just happened to be in front of me and when he came off the bridge and attempted to go up the grade, his truck stalled. I though he was just stopping in front of me to play games.....anyway, turns out he did actually stall, then when he got it started, he spun out, and just my luck, the KJ got a gravel shower!!! To my luck, I was close enough to him that most of the gravel went under the front end, but to my dismay, one little guy hit the windshield, and guess what............another tiny chip.....I was SOUR!!!! Anyway, my buddy stopped up the street and I pulled over beside him. He wanted to make sure no damage was done. Kind of funny in a way, although no damage except the small pit on the window. It was a funny and maddening experience all at once. Anyway the Libby held up with no bruises.

I bet some of you have similar stories from day to day driving and 4x4ing??
