I just changed the belt for the first time today, 65K kilometers (about 41K miles). When I got it off I realized it looked like new still, so it's my spare now. I also replaced the tensioner pulley because it was chirping. Very easy to do, but I found it easier with the air box removed. Barked the livin jeepers out of my knuckle taking that out.

The pulley actually wasn't in bad shape but it has a small bit of wear around the bearing on one side. It'll do for a spare in the tool kit.
So I examined the rest of the pulleys and saw the steering pump pulley has a crack. I tried to get one from Napa since they had the tensioner pulley and belt, but they can't get it, so I ordered one from the stealer.
This winter the steering pump had been squealing for a few seconds on startup, but I did what was recommended in another thread, and replaced the steering fluid, using a turkey baster, and it shut the heck up totally. Nice and quiet now.
This is such a great place to learn about Jeeps.
