There is definitely a difference when I get in or out. I kind of didn't believe it would ride better with a lift. After all everything is now heavy duty. But it rides a LOT better! The wife wants to go look for a car for herself this Saturday! Gotta love it!

Keep telling people that when lifted they ride better and here is more proof! Heading to Orlando in a few weeks may have to swing over your way and check it out!!

Please do Tom! I figured it would ride better over ruff ground, but not the highway. If you get into an argument about that point tell them to contact me! I am impressed! Now I need wheels and tires! The wife will shi**!

NICE!!! way to go Terry!!! Did they install the A-arms too? I'm in the middle of that now. The drivers side is a real PITA!

Glad you like it...wait till you take it off road...it's even more capable now with the added ground clearance

I keep saying the same thing too. I even flipped a U-ie at about 35mph on some very frozen dirt last week and not one tire left the ground. Still not sure how they ever flipped one that was almost 2" lower to the ground.

Looks awesome Terry. Might even be able to stuff real 31s under there even, with the trimming you've done. I think I'm the last 05+ to do the bumper cut but, looking at your pics has convinced me to go through with it.

Thanks for all the compliments! :D I gotta say I'm happy with it. I don't think 31" will be a problem. I have basically a 30" on it now and the front plastic liners are gone. That opened it up a lot. The front bumper trim makes a world of difference in looks and you don't get the scrapping like you do with it on. I'll have to get a head-on shot for you. I also added a plate between the front skid plate and the bumper to stop all the mud/dirt/sand from being scooped up by the skid plate. Last Saturday's trail ride proved it works very well. Next month when I get the new bumper I'll have to make a permanent plate.

No to the A-Arms. I will be getting them soon but I was trying to keep the cost down some. We got hit pretty hard on taxes this year. Mainly because we made 24% on our investments last year. That is why the wife is having a fit over what I do to the KJ.

Haha, the minister of war and finance is mad at you is she? :)

Just tell her to LOOK AT THAT KJ!!! She will settle down, I'm sure. Or if that isn't enough, tell her to look at YOU when you look at your KJ - that big smile on your face will win her heart! :D

Man I want to lift mine!

Yes, the battle ax is upset to say the least. She wants to spend this Saturday looking at cars for her. If she had a clue to what else is coming I would really be in the dog house. Just have to hit her with one thing at a time and space them out. If she would like hitting the trails with me it wouldn't be a problem. But, she doesn't like bouncing around, she wants a nice smooth road. Something about her double "D's" bouncing! I offer to hold them but she don't think that would help!!

Here is the front view I said I would take. You can see the temporary plate going from the front skid plate up to the bumper.
